Our prices are quoted in US dollars (USD$) and are all inclusive.

Day tours

In case of inclement weather, may we cancel our day tour?
Yes, you may cancel your day tour and reschedule for no additional fee. If you are unavailable to reschedule your day tour we may refund your fee at our discretion.

How much are day tours?
Our fees begin at $60.00 USD
 

How can we reserve a spot on a day tour?
Please reserve your place on one of our day tours at least 1-2 weeks in advance. 
You can reserve your spot by contacting us here: dayretreats@eatcastelliromani.com  or filling in our form here: Day Retreats. Once contacted, we will send you additional information and  details of how you may pay. Please note- day tour fees are to be paid allin full upon reserving your place for yourself or small group. 
 

What's NOT included in the price?

Flights, travel documents ie. Passports or visas and travel insurance 

How do I arrive to the Retreat?

We offer a complimentary group transfer to and from the FCO airport on the start and end date of your retreat. If you were previously in Rome, we also offer pickup from the nearest train station. Pickup can be arranged for guest' arriving on the start date of their tour. Please note- we only make one airport pickup. Airport pickup will be scheduled between 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., the time to meet the majority of arriving flights. If possible, we ask guests to please schedule their flight between this window. Earlier arrivals will have a longer wait. Those arriving after noon will be asked to schedule their own arrival to their accommodation or pay an additional fee for pick-up at a later time. 
Details including signage and location of pickup will be detailed in your Travel Packet prior to your arrival in Italy.

*If you would like to book a private transfer or taxi at a different time or from a different location let us know info@eatcastellioromani.com Please note: private transfers and taxis are not included in the price of the retreat and will incur additional fees TBD.

Can I travel with a partner?
Absolutely!  Pricing will be the same for both participants. Please let us know if you’ll be sharing a room or would like to request individual suites.

Are your retreats family friendly?

If you are reserving a retreat date for your group, it can be made family-friendly. Karla and I have littles ones, so we understand the importance of being able to travel with children.   Our friends and vendors will work together to ensure the happiness of you and your family.

What will the meals be like during the retreat?
We believe that cuisine is THE highlight of travel and we’ve crafted this unique retreat to give you exclusive experiences that capture the very best of food, wine, and culinary traditions in our little corner of Italy.

Many meals will be prepared on site by our resident chef, we’ll also have meals prepared by visiting guest chefs and we’ve also partnered with family-run eateries, farmers, restaurateurs, and other food vendors to give you authentic dining experiences.

Please note: We may NOT be able to accommodate those with special dietary needs, however, we are vegeterian friendly.

If you have a serious condition, please email us prior to booking.

What if I don't know how to cook, can I still join?

Yes! Our cooking courses are suitable for all levels, from home cooks to professional chefs.

What type of dishes will we be making?

Delicious, fresh and seasonal! About three months prior to your arrival, we will email you a welcome packet complete with a list of dishes we'll be making for your season's retreat.

Can I pay my retreat fees all at once?

If you'd like to pay your retreat fees all at once, please contact us before completing your reservation form and we will be happy to send over an invoice: billing@eatcastelliromani.com

How will I be billed for  my retreat fees?

Once you have reserved your place, you will receive an invoice detailing how to pay your deposit fee and the remainder of your tour fees, with due dates included.

Your balance may be paid via PAYPAL  using any major credit or debit card (you DO NOT need a PAYPAL account) or bank wire transfer upon request.

How much will my deposit fee be?

Deposit fees are $300.00 per person
